WORLDSTORY SNAKE
Welcome to Worldstory Snake. In 2018, augmented reality snake characters were made with three-dimensional cubes. The cubes were animated to imitate the left-to-right movement of real snakes. For Vision Pro, the snake development effort was brought forward and presented in a brand new, exciting way.
The snake in Worldstory Snake is really, really long. If the snake was real, it would be the longest snake in the world. According to Siri, the longest real snake in the world has a length of 32 feet (9.75 meters). This world story snake has a length of 137.88 feet (42 meters)!
When developing this world story, trying to come up with an environment for the world story was a bit challenging. Initially, there were pyramids similar to Egyptian pyramids. Due to development issues, the Egyptian pyramids were replaced with Aztec-type pyramids. This replacement pushed Worldstory Snake in a totally new direction that made the world story more compelling and more inclusive than ever before. Worldstory Snake includes references to several cultures (Aztec, Chinese and Egyptian) to make up a richer world story.
